Who Am I?

I’m Mary Kethya Khuon, SEP, a trauma-trained somatic coach passionate about helping people develop their sense of self and ability to advocate for themselves through the process of intentional writing.

You may know me from TikTok, Instagram, Mental Breakthrough Podcast, and the CEO/Founder of Sincerely Miss Mary.

I created the Write & Release framework through my background as a certified somatic coach (Somatic Experience Program) and 6 professional years as an expressive, creative writer. My framework, used to help regulate emotions, has reached over 1 million people through my social media platforms and has been taught to over 500 people, including 100 licensed therapists and coaches through professional development workshops.

I facilitate Write & Release workshops for universities, international trauma healing institutions, and human-centered businesses.

What Is the Write & Release Framework?

Write & Release is a framework I created after writing my way out of an emotionally abusive relationship, breaking generational trauma as the youngest daughter of Cambodian genocide survivors, and entering the ever-evolving healing journey. A story I tell in season 1 of Mental Breakthrough Podcast.

My framework combines somatic experiencing, Internal Family System, and creative writing to support the mind-body connection.

You can read more about it here.

I have completed my 3-year Somatic Experiencing practitioner training and have a certificate in expressive arts therapy through Self-Reclaimed’s Reclamation Coach Fellowship program.
