Your Women’s Cycle Is Your Superpower: New Workshop

I didn’t care about my period cycle until I had to.

Until I got diagnosed with an autoimmune disease (Hashimoto anyone?) in 2018.

Until I was severely deficient in multiple vitamins.

Until my hormones were so out of balance I would spend every month hiding in the shadows and wondering why I was so stuck in my depressive episodes.

I thought there was something wrong with me and I just had to “deal with it.”

And then I met PMS/Period coach, Audrey Gerber, and everything just clicked as to why I was having depressive episodes every month.

It was my lack of education of my menstrual cycle and my female body and in one conversation you hear in this week’s episode of Mental Breakthrough Podcast, my whole view of myself and of all women shifted to a more compassionate and empowered place.

Because our cycle is our superpower.

And the world has convinced us otherwise.

The world has taught us to shame our bodies and even make us uncomfortable around conversations about our menstrual cycle and our bodies.

This was me until I met Audrey a few months ago and began taking her holistic coaching advice about started viewing our female bodies with empowerment.

And with my recent certification in somatic trauma therapy and somatic experiencing I have used all my healing modalities along with Audrey’s PMS coaching to navigate my depressive episodes triggered by the complex trauma I’ve experienced in my lifetime.

Everything makes sense now and the dots have connected.

Our bodies are fighting for us and the times we’ve experienced messy emotions, or painful breakdowns, it’s our body’s way of speaking to us.

Telling us how to nourish it with the right foods, movements, and nervous system regulation.
