How Dare You Live A Life Of Your Desires
“How dare you be successful?”
“How dare you step into a role of leadership?”
“How dare you live a life of your greatest desire?”
These voices tend to enter my head every time I reach a new level of success.
Some call it imposter syndrome.
I call it being human.
It’s human to doubt ourselves.
It’s human to be uncomfortable with our authority.
It’s human to feel like we don’t deserve the success that comes our way.
Self-judgment is a normal part of life when we step into our power. What’s important to remember when we experience these self-doubting voices in our heads is that these are not the truths of who we are.
The truth of who we are sounds like the opposite of what these voices tell us.
We deserve success.
We are capable of being great leaders.
We are allowed to live a life of our greatest desires.
Understanding the truth of who we are and what we deserve and honoring the discomfort of moving towards our greatest potential is called grace.
We must give ourselves a hell of a lot of grace in our healing journey because this path is not easy, yet here we are...doing the damn thing...every single day...because we dared.
This simple act of daring should be celebrated, honored, and encouraged everywhere.
Sincerely,
Mary
